How do we book you?
Simply send us an inquiry via the contact page. We will check to make sure we are available on your wedding date first. If we are available and you are happy, we can talk further via phone/in person to sort out the finer details of our wedding photography offers.
How would you describe your photography style?
Candid, natural, modern. Our goal is to create beautiful, story-telling images that you can cherish for a lifetime. Most people on their wedding day don’t want to be standing around all day posing.
You want to be having fun and enjoying your special day to the fullest. We will be there capturing natural moments as they happen.
Yes, there’s always room for a couple of formal shots with the family but for the most part, you won’t even notice we are taking photos. You don’t want to feel awkward on your day. Our candid approach means you can relax and have some fun.
We don't like posed wedding photos. Will you make us pose?
We shoot most of the day in a documentary style. We will not put you in any awkward poses and we are all about capturing real moments as they unfold on your wedding day.
A lot of the time you will not even notice us. There are times throughout the day where we will need to give you a little bit of direction, especially during the bridal party and couple portraits but we like to keep things natural and fun.
When is the best time for portraits?
The best time for portraits is usually one hour before sunset to about 15 minutes after the sun has set. In this window, the light is soft and usually pretty even giving the most flattering look.
In reality, this doesn’t always work for all weddings, especially during daylight savings. If you are up for it, we can steal you away for 10 minutes at sunset to get some beautiful golden hour shots as well.
How and when do we receive our images?
Within 4 weeks after your wedding. You will receive both hard copies (USB) and soft copies (online gallery). The USB will contain wedding photography results that are both ultra-high resolution for printing and standard resolution for the web.
If you have chosen to go with a photo album they normally take 6-8 weeks after you have chosen your images.
Do you photograph weddings outside of Melbourne?
Yes, we do! We don’t charge any extra if the wedding is within 2 hours of Melbourne. If your wedding is a destination wedding we can cater for that too!
How many photos do we receive?
We don’t have a limit on the number of photos you receive, and it will vary depending on what package you decide to go with. As a guide, if you decide to go the full day package you should expect to receive approximately 600-1000 images.
Is it just you taking photos on the day?
That will depend on what package you decide to go with. You have the option of adding a second photographer if needed.
Do we need a second photographer?
A second photographer is recommended if you and your partner are getting ready further than 30 minutes apart.
Do you have backup equipment and procedures in place for our images after our wedding day?
We sure do. We shoot with two cameras, both with dual memory cards for redundancy, so there are duplicate copies of your images on both cameras.
The moment we are home from your wedding all images are backed up to 3 different locations for added precaution.
